Upgrade to S110 v8.0.0 ?

Hello,

I have a project which is currently using S110 SoftDevice v7.1.0 with nRF51 SDK v6.1.0. The hardware is nRF51822 xxAA revision 2. It will probably be upgraded eventually to revision 3 but I do need to maintain compatibility with existing revision 2 devices.

Everything is working properly right now using BLE only. I am about to start adding Micro ESB support for higher throughput, which will run simultaneously with BLE using the SoftDevice's timeslot API. Are there any changes or bug fixes in S110 v8.0.0 related to the timeslot API that would justify upgrading the project to that version now, before I start working on adding Micro ESB? Or is it ok to continue using v7.1.0?

There has been no changes or bug fixes to timeslot API in S110 v8.0.0. Atleast nothing has been notified in the release notes.
