Power Noise Issue with nPM1300 During USB-C Connection/Disconnection

Hello,
I’m testing a circuit built with the nPM1300.
When connecting or disconnecting power via USB-C, noise is generated at the circuit's button, causing unintended signals to be detected.
I would like to ask for advice regarding the cause and possible solutions.

  • Hi,

I am not expert at reading PCB drawings, however, it seems your buttons connections are passing (in red ) below the switching part of nPM1300 (PVSS, PVDD, SW pins) that might be the reason. Can you send some more readable shots of the PCB layers?
Also, what are the buttons nets connected to? if these nets are high impedance when button not pressed, then maybe they are acting as antennas and get perturbated by switching activity?
