nrf52840 could not be recognized in VsCode.

1. Set up the development environment for the nRF52840 chip in VS Code, but encountered an issue where the chip could not be recognized. The development environment consists of Ubuntu 20.04, VS Code, and J-Link.

3. toolchain 2.9.1

4.J-Link can successfully detect the nRF52840 chip.

Hello,

Can you try to downgrade nrfutil by calling: "nrfutil install device=2.8.5 --force" and see if that solve your issue for now? I am not sure of the support for Ubuntu 20.04 moving forward, but I am looking into it and will update when I learn more.
