where in the example is the 128 bit uuid set in the Nordic nrf52 with s132 softdevice

I am running the ble_app_hrs example using the nrf52 with a S132 soft device.

I can't seem to find where the Nordic 128 bit u uid is set.

It is probably because only 16-bit service UUID's are used in that example.

Actually, I see the Nordic UUID is a 128 bit UUID as follows:

7136D230-8874-2AA3-EE44-AAAB0577F8D

I can verify this using LightBlue.

I think this is UUID automatically assigned by iOS (i assume you are using iPhone). It is not set in nRF52 firmware. I am not sure, but i think this is used to identify device by iOS, instead of using mac address directly. You can verify this ex. by using Master Control Panel.
