nRF Connect for Mobile - Trouble finding and connecting to devices for firmware upgrades and setting manipulation

When doing the scan of all possible Bluetooth devices on nRF Connect for Mobile, our custom manufactured Bluetooth wearables are not consistently being found. When by chance they are found, the bonding process either does not start at all or does not complete, so we are not able to access the firmware settings or attempt a firmware upgrade. We used nRF Connect for Mobile to upgrade our firmware successfully in early December, prior to the most recent app update.

    Is this problem on Android or iOS? Can you tell me which changes you did in the firmware upgrade? For instance did you change anything related to the advertisement or services/characteristics? Is it possible that the device is already connected if you go to Bluetooth settings on the phone? If for instance the device is a HID device, then typically the phone OS will handle the device, and it may no longer be visible in the app itself. Does removing the device from Bluetooth settings and re-bonding work?
