Issue of nRF52832 memory for BLE Mesh project

Hi Support Team

We try to integrate the flowing links' sample code of Mesh Sensor, Mesh LPN and Mesh DFU to one project for nRF52832, but we found that the memory usage exceed the memory size of nRF52832. Is there any way to optimize the memory usage for nRF52832? Many thanks.

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately the nRF52832 is not a device we have support for with Bluetooth Mesh in nRF Connect SDK samples due to it's RAM limitations. Since the device only has 64kB of RAM, only somewhat limited Mesh applications will be able to run on it.

You can of course try to optimize it through the steps in https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/test_and_optimize/optimizing/memory.html but I won't give any guarantees that you can get it below sufficient levels of RAM usage. However, let me know if you are able to do so, as I am much interested to be proven wrong in this regard.

I hope this is enough to keep you going with evaluating the SoC for the solution you're trying to integrate.
