Notifications: ACKed or not?

Hi

I have a brief question to which I'm not able to find a clear response: When the SD send a notification of a change in a service value, this notification has a confirmation or not? In other words: Could happen that the SD send a notification and the client device (i.e an smartphone) doesn't receive it? Or in case of not confirmation it is re-transmitted?

You have link layer acknowledgement in the form of a NESN and SN bit. If the peer doesn't ack the packet it will be re-transmitted until the connection supervision timeout is reached.
