revision version for nRF51422

Hi,

I have searched the forum, but still I cannot find answer to my question. I designed my custom board for nRF51422 and want to work with ANT (softdevice 210) (I have done some preliminary tests on dev. kit). I have ordered chips (around 2 weeks ago) and it apprared that these were rev.2 of silicone. (I was strugling to make the rai work fo 2 weeks :)

Now I want to buy rev.3 of the silicone, but part numbers that Digikey, Mouser, RS components and other stores provide do not include the hardware revision. How can I know it before buying the element? Is there any other option than asking for technical service to check the revision (I already did ask such question to several stores, but they cannot help me)?

How do you guys sole that problem?

The chip markings tell you which revision it is. This is described in the Compatibility matrix. I am not familiar with what information you get from the distributors, but it would surprise me if they have anything older than revision 3 in stock these days.

Ok I see. 2014 was quite long a ago, but still somehow I got rev2 chips a month ago - this is where my worries come from. I will try by buying :) Thnaks for your help
