Talking with a TI SensorTag from nRF51822 / nRF 51 dongle?

Has anybody used an nRF51822 (e.g. on nRF 51 dongle / Adafruit BLE Friend) as a central talking with a peripheral like the TI SensorTag? Is there a tutorial / example code to refer to when starting this (e.g. start with nRF51822 as a central and add the TI SensorTag specific stuff then)?

I assume that the TI Sensor Tag is a BLE tag.

Our SDK contains some BLE central examples, it can be downloaded here. In addition to the SDK code, you will also need a BLE stackm, a softdevice. For a central device that will be the S120 or the S130:

• S120 supports non-concurrent central and peripheral role.
• S130 supports concurrent central and peripheral role.

The softdevice documentation can be downloaded from the nRF51822 webpage --> "downloads" tab --> "softdevices" section.
