nrfconnect cant install or update moduls.

I have installed nRf Connect for Desctop v5.1.0 on my windows 11 system.

I tried to update the Quick Start and install the Power Profiler.

Both gave me a similar error! A uninstall and new install was not succsesfull.

Hi,

The files have been packed into an archive (tar), then that archive file has been compressed (gz) and given the final file ending of tgz. Each step would have a distinct SHA checksum.

Please note that the contents within the folder "package" should be placed directly at C:\Users\<username>\.nrfconnect-apps\node_modules\pc-nrfconnect-ppk\

On top of that, there could be bookkeeping in other files, directly in the .nrfconnect-apps folder.

This indicates that our main repository may be blocked, but not the one for China. I don't know what that means if you are not actually located in China or connected via China over VPN. It could be a good idea to get your IT department have a look at it, if your network traffic is not supposed to be routed to or through China.
