nRF8001 set Device address

Hi How to set device address in nRF8001? I only see get device address command. Does it mean I just only put my device address in MCU?

Hi,

The nRF8001 does not allow you to set your address. It allows you to read the random static address that has been placed in it during production of the IC.At this point the nRF8001 does not allow you to modify the address.

Hi If customer buy Mac address from IEEE, how they could use their Mac address?

Only the Random static address is supported on the firmware on the nRF8001 D version.
