Low Power IoT setup for very low activity.

Hi I was reading up on all your chips.. NRF24, BLE and also on IPV6 capable..

Below are my requirements. Can you make a recommendation on what setup to use?

I have 4 IOT devices that will connect to a Hub. All are operated over battery. The IOT devices and hub transmit about 1byte 5times a day. So they can essentially can sleep all day.

The IOT devices can initiate a transaction to the Hub. Also the Hub can initiate the transaction.

The Hub should also post the data to Internet through Wifi or some other means.

What are the best devices to use to communicate between Hub and IOT? If I use NRF24, I will need to be awake in activeListen state most of the day. It can go to sleep in intervals of 10sec.. But it is still waste of power..

And what is the best way to post to internet? and also receive an interrupt to the hub from the cloud. Thanks

Is there a reason why you won't use the nRF5? Here are some general tips on how to save power link1 & link2. The tips are written for the nRF51, but a lot of it would be relevant for the nRF24 as well.
