We are in the process of finalizing the RF transceiver chip for custom protocol development.

Please suggest the suitable chip and any reference implementations available for the suggested chips like ESB and Gazell

Any of our nRF52, nRF53 or nRF54 family products would do this. The latest member is the nRF54L15 and this will also support the most BLE related profiles and radio features. This has the best overall performance with regards to sensitivity and output power combined with current consumption.
