Enabling APPROTECT

Hi,
I want to enable APPROTECT in nrf52840 using NCs 1.8.0 or 2.4.2 or 3.0.0 can you tell the process of doing it?
Also I want to know the use of Access control list . Is it applicable on RAM or FLASH Memory?
