nRF51822 Power Consumption

Which is more lower power consumption,system off mode or system reset (according to nReset/SWDIO pin Lo) when we don't use nRF51822 for a long time ?

Our products have nRF51822 CPU,but most of them don't use nRF51822 at all only supplying their voltage.

I want to keep them low power state without difficult setting.

System OFF can achieve lowest power mode. I do not know what you mean by active reset pin when talking about power modes.

Thank you for reply. How about system reset (nReset/SWDIO pin Lo)? I don't know the power consumption when nRF51822 is in system reset. But I guess the consumption is lower as system off.

Sorry for late reply. The reset pin will keep the chip in the mode that it takes about 500uA. So it is not power efficient. The system off mode is the deepest sleep you can achieve in this chip for power efficiency.
