Compiling error with VScode and Ninca C2909 tag (nrf52833)

Hi all,

I have ublox nina modules including your nrf52833 .

I downaloaded the ublox application here:

Release C209 AoA Tag v2.0.1 · u-blox/c209-aoa-tag

and opened it with VS IDE in which I have the nrf connect SDK installed by following your youtube nRF Connect for VS Code, part 1: Installation series .

As you can see I buit the configuration with the following settings:

When I build the code i have the following error in the terminal:

Of course I can post all the log here but please let me know if I can avoid it.

Do you know why I get the error like  this ?

Hi,

Please update #include <zephyr.h> to #include <zephyr/kernel.h>, as zephyr.h is now deprecated and has been replaced by kernel.h. Note that this application was intended for an older SDK and significant porting could be needed as already mentioned here.

I would start by changing:

• SDK version
• SDK toochain

HAve you idea which version for both in order to get the FW compiling with no error ?

Terrible idea. Those old NCS versions are no longer supported either.

Ok Turbo J , lets think on the opposite way:

ublox TAG  nina b406 has a nrf52833 inside it. We will use this chip in their RTLS ecosystem so the TAG will send  to their anchors the following 2 packets:

• extended advertising beacons with eddystone profile and specific namespace
• periodic advertising CTE packets 

Who will support us or other people in designing such application with newer SDK (e.g.3.2.0) from scratch? Do you have example project with these two fw requirements above?
