BRF5340+NRF21540 RX Sensitivity

I’m working with the nRF5340 and nRF21540 for 802.15.4 and would like to know:

1. The expected RX sensitivity estimation for this combination.

2. Any reference measurement values available.

Any information you can provide would be really helpful.

Hello,

The nRF21540 RF FEM, when combined with an nRF52 or nRF53 Series SoC, provides a 13 dB RX gain with a 2.7 dB noise figure. There is no specific estimation for nrf5340 with nRF21540. It depends on your application.

I’m currently using the nRF5340 DK with the nRF21540 EK to test RX sensitivity. So far, I’m getting -105 dBm, but I think it can be better. I would like to know if there is a reference value we can compare with later, after our own board is ready, for TX/RX performance.
