S130 GATTS Attribute Table Size - how to reduce it safely?

We would like to reduce the attribute table size a little to increase free RAM. Are there any guidelines explaining how we can judge how large the table needs to be for a given application?

Also what happens if we reduce the attribute table size too much and it becomes full during operation, will the SoftDevice crash?

Unfortunately we don't have any such guidelines, usually one would use a try and fail approach.

The SoftDevice wouldn't crash. When you try to something to the attribute table when it's full you the function would return the NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM error.
