I'm using the nRF52840-DK part number 1490-1072-ND I ordered last week. In both nRF Connect for Desktop and the VS code extension the device wasn't able to detect. Tried two different cables. I mostly followed the DevAcademy's nRF connect SDK fundamentals page for the installation https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/nrf-connect-sdk-fundamentals/lessons/lesson-1-nrf-connect-sdk-introduction/. Also attempted some of the solutions listed in the forums for other DKs and older versions of nRF52840 but most of what I saw was just making sure you have everything installed, which I tried my best to follow in the "Get Started" portion of this page: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-software/nRF-Connect-SDK/GetStarted#infotabs by making sure the command line tools were downloaded. The solution where you press reset as you plug in the usb got a connection for a few times at the start, but i was unable to flash the bootloader or reproduce the connection. I did not modify the hardware. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
