We're evaluating NFC for our project.
I've been testing with a nRF52840DK - PCA10056 Version 3.0.2.
Using the antenna supplied with the Development Kit I am able to run the sample programs in SDK 2.6.0 successfully.
I've been to test with another antenna (a Taoglas FXR.2020.B) but have not had any success.
I'm connecting the new antenna via leads I've had soldered to TP 17 and TP 18 on the DK which appear to be common with the leads on the DK Antenna connnector.
Looking at the schematic for the Dev Kit I see there are 300 pF capacitors going from NFC1 and NFC2 to ground. Am I correct in assuming that these capacitors are the Antenna tuning capacitors for the Antenna shipped with the Developmemnt Kit?
If so, they have to be a part of the Taoglas Antenna tuning circuit - which won't work for me - the total tuning capacitance for the Taoglas antenna is 69pF.
Please let me konw if my assumptions ar correct and perhaps point me at an antenna with hich I can test.
