We are currently using Zigbee Firmware built with nRF Connect SDK v2.7.0 on the nRF5340.
We plan to upgrade the nRF Connect SDK to v2.9.2 and use the Zigbee Firmware built with this version.
I would like to ask the following questions:
- Is it acceptable to perform a Device Firmware Update (DFU) directly from the Zigbee Firmware built with nRF Connect SDK v2.7.0 to the one built with nRF Connect SDK v2.9.2?
- Or, should we first update to the Zigbee Firmware built with nRF Connect SDK v2.8.0 via DFU, and then proceed to update to the one built with nRF Connect SDK v2.9.2?
Which method is recommended, and are there any important points or precautions to note (e.g., re-pairing with Zigbee devices may be necessary due to changes in the format of information saved to nvram)?
