sdk and direction finding chip correlation

Hi All,

we are deciding which chip to buy in order to make our AoA trasmitter (CTE packets).

According to https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Wireless/Bluetooth-Direction-Finding   :

  1. I can chose one of them if I want to send CTE packets (AoA) . Am I right ?
  2. According to my previus ticket ( Compiling error with VScode and Ninca C2909 tag (nrf52833) ) it seems AoA just work with SDK 2.9.2. Can you confirm all the chips in the point 1 are compatible with SDK 2.9.2 ?

Thanks

  • Which devices supports Direction Finding (and AoA) can be found in the compatibility matrix for the device, the QDID/DN section.

For AoA transmitter the device with qualification is the nRF52833 and the SDKs supported is the nRF Connect SDK with the Zephyr controller or the nRF Connect SDK versions 2.1.0 to 2.9.2 with the SoftDevice Controller (SDC).
