I2C not detecting peripherals

We are using this custom baord to check the I2C addresses where the I2C BQ_SCL (P1.00) and BQ_SDA (P1.01) connects to various peripherals. However we are unable to get the addresses of these components. Can you let us know what may be the issue here. 
On the other I2C BIOSENS_SDI (P0.19) and BIOSENS_SCLK (P0.21) the AFE is getting detected alright.

We will be checking that soon as we have ordered one. However can this be an issue - "P1.00 and P1.01 are by default forwarded to the network core for its uart"
if yes, how do we free these pins for I2C as the hardware is already made now?
We are using nrf connect v2.8.0 in VS code

I2C3.zip

This is two folders with settings fo prj.conf and overlay files. The folder I2C3_working has the BLE and I2C3 both working whereas the I2C3_not has the BLE workign but hte I2C3 does not. Please suggests in the first case. We have the other peripherals (full custom baord) configurations on the I2C3_not . The other folder was to test if the custom boards works or not.
