Thread Channel Monitor not available in CLI

Hello,

we are testing the openthread CLI example on nRF54L15dk

We have compiled it with the following options:

CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_CHANNEL_MONITOR=y

CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_CHANNEL_MANAGER=y

However, we are unable to run the relative command in the CLI:

uart:~$ ot channel manager
Error 7: InvalidArgs
uart:~$

The command is documented here:

Are we missing something? Is it supported?

Another user seems to be able to reach the command on CLI on nRF52:  Thread Channel Monitor not working properly

Hi,

Are you sure "ot" prefix is required? I can just see that the test script don't use it:
\modules\lib\openthread\tests\scripts\expect\cli-channel.exp

Hi,

This feature might not be supported in the pre-built library. Please try building the OpenThread libraries from sources instead. You can do so by adding the following in prj.conf:

CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_SOURCES=y
CONFIG_NET_L2_OPENTHREAD=y
