BLE MESH vs THREAD and WiFi interference

Hello,

we are testing BLE MESH vs THREAD to build a home automation network.

We understood that WiFi interference is a real concern in this application. In fact, we have seen that disturbing the environment with huge 2.4G WiFi traffic reduces the delivery rate of other protocols running on 2.4GHz.

So, the question is: what are the mechanisms that help make BLE MESH and THREAD resilient to WiFi interference? And is there one of the two that shows better performance at it?

Thanks much for your help.
