EEPROM example/I2C not functioning

I am in the process of migrating an existing project from 2020 to the newest version of Zephy/Nordic.  I am having issues with the I2C bus.  I created a test project using the EEPROM example and an Adafruit NRF58232 board.  I have an EEPROM installed on the SDA/SCL lines.  It does not recognize the EEPROM. Any clues?

Hi William,

Are the connections etc. the same as in this older projects in which everything worked? What SDK version was this older project from 2020 based on? 

If the issue ends up related to I2C specifics we do have a course on it here.
