Range for thread

We are using the nRF5340 for Thread communication and an Ignion BLE Antenna (NN02-101) for range testing.

During the range test, we observed an RSSI of -25 dBm at close proximity, which dropped to -50 dBm when moving just 1 metre away. The maximum range we are currently achieving is approximately 20 metres.

Could you please let us know the expected range for this setup?

It might be relevant to your question regarding the expected range for thread. It is not exact same device but when it comes to range, you should be able to get comparable results with similar physical layer settings.
