NRF54L15 SQSPI OTA

On the nRF54L15, is it possible to configure MCUboot so that the secondary image slot is stored in external flash connected via the SQSPI interface instead of internal flash? If yes, what are the recommended settings or constraints to make this work?

Hi,

SQSPI is quite new and immature, so there's unfortunately little of official samples that showcases how to use it. However you can see how the SQSPI interface can be set up in the nrf/samples/zephyr/driver/jesd216 sample https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/tree/c1e8d7570fb347d19f54b0e85657844403caf7c5/samples/zephyr/drivers/jesd216, but for now we don't have anything showcasing how to use it out of the box. It should be possible to apply this configuration to a external flash device

Would be really great to get a full project example of the sQSPI peripheral for generic use (e.g. driving display), not tightly bound to flash usage.

Maybe also some more information on how this plays together with the Zephyr MSPI API...

and 

https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/tree/main/samples/zephyr/drivers/, for instance jesd216 or spi_flash for external flash. There's no samples for display other than what's mentioned here https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrfxlib/softperipheral/doc/sQSPI/display.html 

If you have additional questions, I recommend you to raise a new case for those questions
