Sleep Current Measurement for 2NR (nRF54L15DK) EVK

Hello,

I am trying to do the current measurement for the 2NR EVK in sleep mode.

I am using the "Bluetooth: Peripheral power profiling" application that I was able to build from the Nordic visual studio code.

Here is the example I an using:

I just flashed this example with all the default settings to the Nordic nRF54L15DK board and Murata 2NR EVK. I am able to get same reading on both of the boards.

I am seeing 1.2 uA whereas the datasheet mentions 0.6 uA. Am I doing something wrong?

I am seeing some peaks in the signal capture. I am using keysight power analyzer to do the current measurement.

Hello Puja,

It seems a common measurement variation form the documented value. 

Can you add the following code line in the beginning of main function and measure the current again?

NRF_MEMCONF->POWER[0].RET = 0;
NRF_MEMCONF->POWER[1].RET = 0;
NRF_MEMCONF->POWER[0].RET2 = 0;
NRF_MEMCONF->POWER[1].RET2 = 0;

I still see the same current measurement value after adding the code.

Hello Puja,

I got lower current around 1uA with this disabling RAM retention code. Still not the docuemented value like 0.8 to 08.uA. 

However I can see, you are still getting 2.08uA. Have you restarted (by resetting and also restarting PPK2) the device after flashing the code?
