nPM1300 load switch peak current

About nPM1300

We will use load switch to drive haptic function and its peak current may up to 0.4A~0.5A@25us duration,

I see the spec show the load switch with maximum 100mA capability, but no current protection information.

What will happen for this application to load switch? Only voltage drop occurred? Damage to load switch concern?....

What will the average current be? From your illustration, it seems like it will be at least 250mA within the time frame depicted?

So the maximum peak current will be slightly above 250 mA, rather than 500 mA?

Yes, we get the actual LRA sample and measure it

I've asked internally about the scenario of pulling more than 100mA from the load switch, and the answer I've got is that exceeding the 100mA limit may potentially damage the device. After the soft start there is no current limiter on the load switch. This is mentioned in the datasheet.
