nRF9151 supported AT commands

Dear Customer Support,

We are gathering the list of supported AT commands support for the nRF9151

Also experimenting available AT commands using the nRF9151DK

So far, we have found two documents:

nRF91 AT Commands - Command Reference Guide v0.7

nRF91x1 Cellular AT Commands - Command reference Guide v1.3

Could you please confirm we are using the latest version for these pdf documents?

Also please let us know if we are missing other AT command documents relevant to the nRF9151

are these no longer supported on the nRF9151?

Hi Jamal,

The AT commands are documented in the following guides:

• Modem-specific AT commands - nRF91x1 AT Commands Reference Guide

• Proprietary AT commands - SLM-specific AT commands

This is the newest and official documentation and should include all supported AT Commands.

We don't have AT commands for ATE0 and ATV0.

How about AT+IPR? Could you please confirm not supported as well?

What would the default baud rate between the MCU and the integrated modem?

Hi Jamal,
If you’re referring to communication between the modem and the application core, the modem library handles this through the RPC library, using the IPC peripheral and a shared RAM region.

Or are you asking about using the nRF9151 as a standalone modem communicating with an external MCU?

Found the associated block diagram in the documentation

My application use case is rather the latter, communicating over UART to an external processor, using the SLM Application as a starting baseline.

The baud rate in this case is covered by the .overlay configuration

Yes, the baud rate is now set in the device tree. Previously there was an AT command (#XSLMUART) for it, but it has been removed as of NCS v2.5.0.
