I have a project that was built with SDK and toolchains 1.7.1. This firmware is used in a fielded product. I can't upgrade it to a newer version of the SDK without having to re-do all of our Bluetooth licensing for a new version.
I am attempting to build our main branch from git repo - a version of the project that has built successfully before and is being used in production currently. NCS says that the build is stale and a pristine build is required, but when I attempt to do the pristine build, it fails.
One thing I notice is that I can select SDK 1.7.1, but when I try to select or install TOOLCHAIN version 1.7.1, there is nothing older than 2.0.1 available. So I cannot select the appropriate version of toolchain for the project. I suspect that this is why I'm having trouble building. How can I get toolchain 1.7.1 installed and selectable?
