nPM1300 LDO Vin voltage

Hi 

Since the Vout setting range is 1V~3.3V, and the datasheet Figure 39 show the dropout voltage is ~60mV(0.06V)

Why datasheet LDO electric spec. show the VIN need larger than 2.6V?

If we need Vout 1.8V, and we provide Vin 1.9V, for dropout voltage point seems ok.

I'm afraid the nPM1300 is designed with a minimum LDO input voltage of 2.6V in mind.

I'm afraid that's unknown, Poki.

Characterization was done down to 2.6V and that is the lowest we can make sure the LDO operates as expected. Below that we are in uncharted territory and it can cause unexpected behavior. Part of the regulation circuitry is powered by LSIN (instead of VSYS) and it has been designed down to 2.6V supply voltage. Behavior under that is not known.
