Using nRF8001 To Advertise Battery Level

Is it possible to use an nRF8001 without a separate microcontroller to advertise non-connectable advertising packets specifically containing battery level information only? If so, please comment on the configuration requirements. Thanks.

Hi,

The nRF8002 is a proximity solution, it does have a battery level monitor built-in however there are a few differences that may not be aligned to your requirements.

1. The battery level is never transmitted in the advertisements, it is available only by reading the battery level on the device.
2. The nRF8002 uses connectable advertisements, it does not use non-connectable advertisements
