Error during FOTA over BLE in Lesson 9, Exercise 5 of Intermediate nRF Connect SDK Course

Hello,

I am following the official Nordic Academy nRF Connect SDK Intermediate course, specifically Lesson 9 – Bootloaders and DFU/FOTA, Exercise 5 (FOTA over Bluetooth Low Energy). I strictly followed the instructions in the lesson, but I encounter an error when trying to perform the firmware upgrade with the nRF Connect Device Manager app.

After selecting the generated firmware file (zephyr.signed.bin), the Device Manager app shows the following error:

I tried using solution project (l9_e5_sol) - same result.

My development setup:

Hardware: nRF52840 DK
OS: macOS (Apple Silicon)
nRF Connect SDK: v3.0.1
nrf Connect Device Manager app version: v2.7.1

Hello,

A new update for the nRF Device Manager app (v2.7.2) has been released, and I believe this issue has been addressed in the new version. Could you please check if you are still experiencing the same issue after updating?
