The VS code can't find the nrf52832 kit

Hi There,

I'm following the "nRF Connect SDK Fundamentals" to set the environment up. The device I'm using is nRF52 kit with N52832 MCU and PCA10040.

The USB wire is works because I've tried the same setup on Windows system and the connection is ok. VS code can successfully found the device.

But when I tried to flash the kit, the VS. code showed "No device found". I've tried to fix this issue by the result from previous Q&A which set device provider in the VScode Setting to "nrfjprog".

Unfortunately, I can not find this option in the latest "nRF Connect for VS Code" extention.

Here are the installed tools and my system information:

  Mac: MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

  Mas os: 15.5

   VS code: 1.103.2 (Universal)

  nrfjprog version: 10.24.2 external

  JLinkARM.dll version: 8.64 (Intel silicon x64)

  

I'll be really appreciated if you could help me to solve this issue.

Hello,

Are you able to program the device in other ways, for example, by using nrfjprog from the command line? There was some problems in the beginning when we switched from using nrfjprog to nrfutil Vs code, but it as been a while now since I have seen reports of this issue now.
