Remember that you can build on the command line. If that is also slow, you will likely need to fix your br0ken computer first. Not on topic here.

This is almost certainly related to your computer. It could be caused by many different factors. I know that some people have had similar issues caused by antivirus software. During the build process a large number of files are created, and if the antivirus checks each one, it can take a long time.
