Does the RISC-V processor of this SoC have access to all the peripherals similar to Cortex-M processor? Can it be used for edge AI using Neuton or ML studio ?
Hi,
The RISC-V core has full access to memory and peripherals, so in principle it can be used for any type of task, there is no explicit support for running Neuton models at this point (that said it is in form of C code that I do not see a problem with integrating in firmware for the RISC-V core.
PS: Nordic is workign on integrating Neuton more closely in the nRF Connect SDK so there will be updates here going forward, see Unlock Edge AI on any SoC with ultra-tiny Neuton ML models.
