Is it first time you are using SDK v3.1 ? Have you modified a sample and now you are seeing the issue ? Can you try to just build a sample straight without modifying it to see installation is correct and everything is in place?

Dear Nordic Support,

I haven’t made any modifications to the setup. The 3.0.1 version worked perfectly fine for me before. However, after switching to version 3.1.0, the light_bulb sample project fails to compile when generated directly. Oddly enough, the template sample project compiles without any issues. I have already tried reinstalling the SDK, but the problem persists.

Could you please help look into this? Thank you.

Could you please share the build configuration that leads  to fail:




Worth to mention that if you are using SDK v3.1.0 then you need to update toolchain to v3.1.1 as well. Updating just SDK without toolchain will lead to error.

I have updated the SDK to the latest version 3.1.1 again, but the same issue still occurs during compilation. The toolchain is also up to date. Here is the details:

I generated the light_bulb using the following method. Could you please send me your corresponding version of the light_bulb code project for comparison? This way, we can identify the root cause of the issue.
