Request for Zigbee Certification Documents (PICS/PIXIT...) and Test Firmware for nRF52840 DK

Hi Nordic team,

I am a test engineer at AIROHA, focusing on Zigbee and wireless communication protocol testing. Currently, I am responsible for setting up the Zigbee certification environment and executing related test cases. We plan to use the nRF52840 DK as the Device Under Test (DUT) for Zigbee certification, including both Zigbee PRO and Zigbee 3.0 profiles.

Could you please confirm if the nRF52840 DK is suitable for running Zigbee PRO and Zigbee 3.0 certification tests?

If so, could you provide the recommended firmware (or test images) for these certification processes?

Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could share the relevant documentation, such as PICS/PIXIT or any other Zigbee certification-related documents required for the certification process.

If there are any additional requirements, procedures, or best practices for using the nRF52840 DK as a DUT in Zigbee certification, please let me know.

Thank you very much for your support!

Best regards,

boyu

  • Hi again,

Could you expand a bit on the business case behind this request? I am a bit uncertain if you are simply trying to certify a product or eg. wanting to generally open a certification house for Zigbee. Note that you can do a "certification by inheritance", using how our stack is already certified - given that you haven't added much in regards to additional profiles etc.

I'll be happy to make the case private if you want me to. It is currently open.

    Regards,

    Elfving
