currently working with the nRF9151 DK and exploring DECT NR+ technology for the first time

While testing, I encountered the following error after flashing the modem firmware and running the DECT example:

<err> nrf_modem: Modem has crashed, reason 0xfff, PC: 0x0

Steps I followed:

1. Flashed the  modem firmware (mfw_nrf91x1_2.0.2.zip) using the nRF Connect Quick Start method.
2. Built and flashed the hello_dect example application.
3. After reset, the above crash error appeared.

From my understanding, this may be because the LTE-only firmware does not support DECT NR+. As I am new to both NR and DECT technologies and working under tight timelines, I kindly request your guidance.

Could you please provide me access to the required DECT NR+ PHY modem firmware or direct me to the correct process for obtaining it? This is critical for my ongoing project.

Hello, 

In order to use the DECT NR+ functionality on the nRF9151, you will need to program the DECT modem FW on the nRF9151 as it can only function as LTE device with the current modem FW. You can reach out to your local sales representative, who can provide the DECT modem FW to you.
