Unable to Connect to nRF52833 Hardware

Hello Nordic Support Team,

I’m currently experiencing issues connecting to my nRF52833 hardware. The device was previously working without problems, but now I’m unable to establish any connection via J-Link.

Here are some details about my setup:

  • Development board: nRF52833 DK

  • Operating system: Windows 10

  • Toolchain: Segger Embedded Studio

  • Connection method: J-Link, BLE

  • Symptoms: flashing fails, connecting fails, see pic below

  • Steps already tried: power cycling, reprogramming, checking cables, unplug/plug

I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps you can suggest. Please let me know if you need logs, screenshots, or additional information. I have already looked in some tickets, but I have nothing found which was really helpful.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards,

Ati

  • Hello,

You can try to run "nrfjprog --recover" or "nrfutil device recover" to check if that make it work.

If this is something that suddenly have happened, the common problem may be that the pin reset is enabled and pulled low, you can try to force the pin reset pin to VDD to check if that make it work.

Does this happen on only one board or multiple boards?
