Google find Hub test process

Hello,

we are trying to test the fast pair example: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/bluetooth/fast_pair/locator_tag/README.html

However, we arelly can't understand the Google process to be enabled for the test. In fact, it seems the new process requires a System Integrator and an OEM. But we are both, since we are developing the hardware on our own.

Does anyone managed to fully test the Locator Tag example and can help us?

Hello Marco,

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid there is currently not much you can do than to wait on being onboarded by Google given that you have submitted your device proposal form. I also don’t have much visibility into this process, other than knowing that it can take some time based on feedback from you and other customers. If you follow this link here: https://developers.google.com/nearby/fast-pair/landing-page-find-hub#step_1_submit_a_device_proposal_for_approval it now says that "To ensure the most efficient processing time, we strongly recommend engaging with a Google-approved System Integrator. Projects where “Google” or “other” is selected as the system integrator will be processed based on our team's availability."
