nRF9151-DK DECT NR+ external antenna

Hi,

I’m trying to explore the capabilities of DECT NR+ technology using the nRF9151-DK. Are there any recommended external antennas that I would be able to use with this kit?

Are there any other parameters apart from those listed here (DECT NR+) that needs to be complied with?

Lastly, is using the external (possibly directional) antenna even beneficial?

Hello, in your message you state that you used a W5095K via a "separate cable". The connector on the nRF9151 for dect nr+/lte is an swf connector from Murata, I believe. I am concerned with the stability of this connector when a W5095K antenna is attached. From my understanding this connector is mainly meant for connecting testing equipment. Is there a suggested method of connecting the W5095K to the swf connector? Thanks in advance for your response!

The solution that is used internally is something similar to this

This will secure the antenna connector in place on the DK while connecting the antenna itself to an SMA connector.
