I am working on a project with 2 nrf5340 Audio DK's and I want to have the same functionality of the walkie talkie demo but instead use the microphone of the headsets that I connected. So I have a splitters so I can plug the headset into the headphone and LINE-IN port at the same time, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
I have changed the config to:
CONFIG_STREAM_BIDIRECTIONAL=y
CONFIG_AUDIO_SOURCE_I2S=y
And removed:
And removed:
CONFIG_WALKIE_TALKIE_DEMO=y
Now it works when I plug the line in into my laptop and produce the audio from there, but not when I want to use the microphone from my headset. I found This post about a similar issue, but I am not seeing anyone talking about this issue. Is it now impossible, without an amplifier, due to the difference between Mic and Line level?
While searching I saw a few posts where it looked like someone got it working, but maybe they were using a dedicated microphone.
Would love to get a clear answer on this.
