Dear Nordic Team,
Does the nRF54L15's channel sounding function use the channel range of 79 channels (72 channels excluding the advertising channel) stated in the Bluetooth SIG specification?

Hi
The Channel sounding in NCS does indeed use the 72 channels available for channel sounding within the 2402-2480MHz. Is there a specific reason you're asking?
Best regards,
Simon

Dear Simon,
Thank you very much for your response.
I would like to confirm the following two points regarding the nRF54L15-DK:
Based on the Japanese Radio Law certification number 220-JP8930, I understand that the 2.4GHz band is certified only for 40 channels. In this case, should we consider that using the channel sounding functionality outdoors is outside the scope of certification and therefore not permitted?
Alternatively, is the channel sounding functionality included within the certified range, and thus allowed for outdoor use under this certification?
Thank you for your time and support.
