nRF54L15-DK Bluetooth maximum range of advertisement

Developing with nRF54L15-DK on Zephyr RTOS, our team concerned about nRF54L15 DK board maximum advertising range.

Is there any Bluetooth performance report to show that?

And what's the configuration to reach the best performance?

Also, what's the maximum measurement length of channel sounding between two nRF54L15 DK board?

And what's the configuration to reach the best performance?

I notice in Nordic website you posted, the range of BLUETOOTH 5 (LE) is up to 400m. Does nRF54L15 can support 400m outdoor?

And what's the configuration to reach 400m? Like which PHY should we select? or any other?

Hello Jackson,

There's a long range mode with lower data rate available with Bluetooth 5 specification:

That is the configuration that allows up to 400meter of range. The nRF54L15 supports this mode along with +7dBm output power is the key to achieve longest possible range without adding front end module with extra amplification, like the nRF21540.
