We have been using a custom device based on the NRF9160 SIP with a HTTPs connection for tracking animals and are planning on makeing changes to CoAPs and upgradeing to the 51 SIP instead. It currently sends data with json and we have been thinking about using cbor just like in your nRF Cloud CoAP API. I am wondering how are you handling the serialization of the data from cbor to json in it at the moment and what kind of backend is being used? If possible id like to get some pointers and recommendations on the matter or if you would be able to point me to the right documentations about it that i might have missed.
