PAN B611-1 internal DCDC converter

Hello,

is the DCC pin (DC/DC regulator output) connected to an inductor on the PAN B611-1?
I want to use the internal DC/DC converter.

Thank you

  • Hi Peter,

On the nRF54L15 the DCDC converter is mandatory and can't be configured to LDO only, so all designs must have the inductor on DCC. So the panasonic modules should have this inductor in place.

On the nRF54L15, the DCDC converter is used by default. There is no option to not use it, the LDO cannot supply enough current when the radio is in use.

The nRF54L series can not disable the DCDC like the nRF52 and nRF53 series can.

But I would also suggest you to maybe contact panasonic support to confirm this.
