I am having an issue where my nRF52840 Development Kit is not being detected by nRF Connect for Desktop, specifically in the Quick Start and Programmer apps. The DK does not appear in the device list, and no COM ports show up related to it.
Observed Behavior:

Board powers on, LEDs light normally.

Dxoes not detect the DK as a USB device.

No COM port appears in Device Manager.

nRF Connect shows "No devices detected"
Expected Behavior:
The nRF52840 DK should appear automatically in the Quick Start app once connected via USB.
Questions:

Are there additional drivers needed for the nRF52840 DK?

Could this be a J-Link firmware issue, and how do I recover it?

Are there steps to reflash the interface MCU if it is corrupted?

Is there a way to verify from the board LEDs that the interface chip is functioning?
